The musical genius of the young Nitti on the podium of the Symphonic Orchestra of Bari
Glinka – Ruslan e Ludmilla
Beethoven – Simphony nr 2
The interpretation of Michele Nitti, one of the most prominent today’s conductors, completely convinced. In this concert Michele Nitti has revealed a flexible and soft posture, and the total knowledge of the score. He drew out from the score many colours, timbres and a large quantity of musical ideas. In the Allegro molto finale of the Beethoven Symphony nr. 2 Michele Nitti has exalted the fancy of the Orchestra, a good amount of surprising dynamics and an ironic mood always present. The rest of the concert showed a conductor already very flexible and prepared in most passionate repertoires, full of sonority and tonal transformism. This is the case of Glinka’s “Ruslan and Ludmilla ouverture”, an explosion of colors in a general rejoicing of rhythm very well-conducted.
