I remember his debut in Parma with a Bohème conducted without rehearsals, when he took my place on the podium.

Extraordinary strictness during the rehearsal  and an uncommon interpretative focus during the concerts.

I want  to add  that Michele has a deep humanistic culture (he studied Letters and Philosophy at the University) and communication skill, very important qualities for the conductor.
